Women's game with Southern Miss!

SMU is stomping Southern Miss 62-41 with 13.57 to go in the second half. The girls are getting it done VERY impressively!

You're very kind. This team is very balanced from the inside and outside and has several scoring options. The other thing I like is that their hands are very active in the passing lanes. Thus, they get a lot of steals.
What bothers me is that they tend to fall in love with the 3-point shot too much, like at Tulsa where they were 3-for-25.
Man, what's your fascination with Hill? She's good, don't get me wrong, but you make it sound like she's going to take over the point ... and she's not, or at least not yet. Nice backup, but at this point, that's all. Besides, any discussion of ball-handling, breaking the press and pure speed (not to mention speed-created defensive pressure) has to start with Katy Cobb.George S. Passing in the low post is great. When she gets a little older and stronger, you may see one of the best guards to ever come through Rhonda's program.
I'm going off potential and what she could be capable of doing if things fall right. I don't have a crystal ball. And I know her height is an issue. She's going to have to compensate for that. I never inferred Samuels job was in trouble. It shouldn't be.
This is the third time that people have become defensive on my comments on the women's bb team. I didn't realize they were a hands-off subject.![]()
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
