Tulsa up 66- 64 with 4 minutes to go. Anyone out there following this from long distance or have our few remaining fans lost interest?
Killen playing well - lots of steals as a team tonite

Wish they would play with this intensity and confidence all the time. That Tulsa freshman is ridiculous. Great to see Killen stepping it up!

I am often critical of Killen but he is "Killen" Tulsa tonight. Now if a couple of others can pick it up they could actually win the game.

Bad enough to lose but why did the camera man decide to keep the shot on the students while the last play was happening?

No kidding...I think he was going for the artistic crowd shot.

all I can say is "wow". Another chapter in what is becoming a very painful season. Gotta believe we win these close games if we had 7500 fans in Moody going crazy. Hope these guys can stay motivated to keep working hard. Not a bad effort tonite.
Tulsa wins 72-71 on last second layup

Yes that was incredible. He was "lunchin'" as the kids like to say.
While I am puzzled at how we let this guy, who had only 6 secs to work with, go the full length of the court and make a layup to win the game, I am pleased with the improvement, this was a different team tonight. Hope it is a sign of what we can come to expect. As my hs football coach used to say, "lots of promises being made."

We lost 72-71. We let a guy go end to end to hit a shot and win at the end after Roberts hit 2 free throws to put us up one with 7 or so seconds left.

Just got back from the game and although it was a tough way to lose, there were many positives tonight. They are slowly improving and they played their guts out. Sure did need that win though because they have a very hard 4 games coming up before Rice comes here.

Wish we would have played defense in the last six seconds. Still an exciting game...I no longer have a voice (smu diamond m is my witness).
Could two of those refs have been any more biased toward Tulsa? I swear, I have not seen a more one-sided game called by two refs...the other guy was being fair but couldn't even it out.

Great game, there was a lot of good basketball tonight...I'm proud of the team, even though the last 6 seconds didn't happen like it should have. Dia and Hart were crushed when he made that layup, love to see the emotion. They played their hearts out, and there is no one besides Memphis and probably Houston that they can't beat in conference. Feed it to Dia, the man can score..we could win if we did that.
Oh, and Killen, he was spectacular. And normally I'm a heavy critic of him
