Missouri suspends Cedar Hill's Jason Horton indefinitely

Postby George S. Patton » Tue Jan 29, 2008 10:04 pm

It's pretty big. Horton and several teammates were involved in a fight at a bar on Sunday night. Think I saw five names. Whatever it was, they were arrested and charged.

All are suspended indefinitely. Not a smart move by the Cedar Hill product. He and his brother who went to Michigan were great talents. But in my view, they never turned into great college basketball players.

If I'm right, wasn't his brother Daniel also suspended from Michigan by former coach Tommy Ammaker because he assaulted his girlfriend?

Today, Jason was charged with 3rd degess misdemeanor assault (I think) and remains suspended.

The patriarch Horton -- a complete a-hole -- should be so proud that both sons now have records. Jason remains suspended. A couple of other players were re-instated.

Their farther. I can't remember his name, but I went to enough Cedar Hill games so that it was pretty easy to find him screaming and hollering. You could sense the frustration coming from Cedar Hill coach David Milson.

Oh okay, I thought he might've been some famous guy.
