Losing this recruiting war to Texas Tech really stings. Look at the chart at the bottom.
Imagine if we could have gotten....nevermind.

I cringe just hearing his name. This is the true impact freshman that could've helped turn our program around. His recruitment was down to SMU and Tech, and he chose Tech because of their coach. Papa and Roberson would've been nice for 4 years

this kid is the real deal too. is was fun watching him win the state title for plano. a true proven winner...
With Bobby Knight stepping down today, I wonder what the chances may be that we get in Roberson in here as a transfer. Obviously he would have to sit out a season but could be a redshirt sophmore starting at PG for us when Dia, Malone, Harp are all Juniors and Faye a Senior. Sure does look like a nice starting line-up to me....

no chance he transfers to SMU. The only way that guy leaves is if he gets an offer from a traditional big time school. He gets plenty of PT, no reason to sit out. Not competing does not make you a better player.
Lots of players end up leaving school to get back closer to home. I have no idea that he doesn't love it up at Tech, but say he has been a little homesick and his coach just bailed. If that were the case I would think he might think about transferring to the school that was his second choice, SMU, which happens to be near his home. Not saying its likely but it would not be shocking by any means.
