Lot of history in this building, but UH has really let this place get run down.

Dodds and Gilliam both have 10 in the first half.
Almost 4 minutes to halftime.

Impressive win. I'm shocked at the score - it's not easy to kick butt like that on the road. That's two road trip sweeps in a row. Nice work team - huge win.

Ditto. Since the game was being tape-delayed - AGAIN  -- I checked the gametracker, and couldn't believe it. This team is very capable. Man, those Tulsa games are such ding-dong losses.

Just looking at the box score, there wasn't anything extraordinary but UH was held to about 30 percent shooting. Great defense.

And our free throw shooting was again superb, 18-21 (85 %). In the last three games, we're 72-83 (86.7%).

17-6, 7-3 in CUSA. Keep it going.

The Houston radio feed was live. That's how I listened in real time.

Haven't seen the Mustangs play in a while, but man, what a weekend. Got to see an OT thrilled and a bona fide butt-kicking today. Damn the Ponies looked AWESOME today... at least in part because Houston sucked today. They looked scared, Ty Jackson couldn't have kicked into the Gulf of Mexico. Houston had a huge chick in the middle and Dodds made her look awful. Brittany Gillum started fast both games, and I think she was the leading scorer both times. (I saw some of the Rice/Tulsa game that followed our game, and I can say without a doubt that if we played like we did today, we would have beaten Tulsa both times.) Brittany was smooth with the ball, shot well in spurts and seemed to be a step ahead of her defender the whole time. All of the Ponies were a step quicker today.

Wish we played UTEP today, because we would have whipped them, too.
