Jon Koncak spends more time cruising around Wyoming to watch his youngest daughter, Alex, play her senior season of high school basketball than he does reminiscing about his basketball career.
But today is a special occasion for Koncak, a 7-0, former SMU and NBA center.
SMU will retire Koncak's No. 53 jersey during a ceremony at halftime of today's 7 p.m. game against UAB (18-8, 8-3 Conference USA) at Moody Coliseum.
