Will the Men's Basketball team make the NCAA or NIT?

Postby Billy Joe » Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:57 am

I was wondering what the chances of the men's basketball team making a post season tournament this year? Orsini said Top 25 in all sports. If the men's team does not make a post season tournament then how are they doing recruiting the local high school talent? I bet a lot of local talent is real excited about the new facilities. I expect a lot of big commitments from the local players soon. Does anyone close to the program have information on these topics?

Billy Joe, don't you think that they can run the table in the CUSA tournament and beat Memphis along the way? If they do that, they go to the NCAA's. They have zero chance of going to the NIT's. Now go back to your hole.

Question #1) Obviously a joke or you are either completely ignorant or never look at the standings.

Mr. Joe never has anything of relevance to say. He and PonySnob are one in the same.

If they do not make the NCAA tournament then maybe they can get some good local players for next year. Are there any good local players looking at SMU? I am sure some of the DISD kids would love to play close to home so their families can watch them. How many DISD players are looking at SMU? Thanks for the information guys!!!! Pony up!!!!
