Yeah I am sure Memphis has never played in front of a loud crowd before. More than likely our guys would get confused at why people are cheering.

Our team responds to energy from the crowd - especially the seniors. This is why we should be loud.

Will you be there white helmet?

I'm just hoping SMU bucks the trend and stays within 30.

I literally cannot sit through my classes because I am so excited about tonight. Does anyone know what time the doors open because I want to be one of the first people into Moody. I am going to the tailgate at 5 and will just go into the game once moody opens. It's going to get loud and I expect the boys to be up

There's no trend. They only beat us by 3 this time last year. We were loud last year. It nearly worked.

i guess their home record reflects that energy response from the crowd

Man y'all sure are downers today. In case you don't attend the games, I would say that the crowd usually does not display much energy.

So the answer is yes - correct.

I honestly love your enthusiasm, but I would recommend some sessions at the National Organization for Higher than Optimal Pony Expectations. N.O. H.O.P.E.is headed by jtstang and while still allowing you to cheer loudly for the Ponies, it will also keep you from Mustang burnout until such day that we can establish ourselves as perennial winners and not have to be disappointed by shattered dreams over and over. Good luck in your cheering tonight.

Regarding trends, below is a partial listing of SMU events I have attended this year:

fb vs TTech
every other football game, save 3 road games
bball vs Southern
Alabama State
Houston
Centenary
USC-Upstate
bball viewed on AllAccess or listened on radio
at Memphis
at Houston
at Southern Miss
at ECU
at UTEP

Maybe not a trend of 30 point losses, but surely you see where I'm coming from. And I'll be there tonight.

haha, i havent been to as many games as i did freshman or sophomore year but ive been to a handful this year. crowd energy could be better but i do expect a huge crowd with lots of noise tonight. should be a great atmosphere in moody.

and im only a downer because i feel as if ill be leaving at halftime with us down 23+ pts.
