Should they get there, we will have played 5 teams that are in the Tourney. A&M, TCU, Southland winner if its UTA or UTSA, Coppin St. if it can get win the MEAC (they were second behind NC A&T) and UTEP.

Screw that - we only need Froggy High to win if we need our win over them to get into the NCAA tournament. But WE'RE IN THE DAMN TOURNAMENT so here's hoping they lose by 80 in the first round of the MWC tournament, their good players transfer and they get worse and worse every year. Mittie has had "a good run"? Word is he has all the class and integrity of Billy Gillespie (or should I say Kelvin Sampson?), and there's nothing that guy deserves more than to fall on his face.

Whoever won the MWC regular season title is who we should be rooting for at this point. I'd like to see CUSA get a 2nd bid and if there are too many upsets, UTEP could get hosed.

Screw that. Here's hoping that they lose in the 1st round, and that our victory makes CUSA a 2 bid conference, thus knocking the froggies from last 4 in (in pre-SMU championship projections) to last 4 out.

So how do you guys really feel about this?

Unfortunately, TCU is now the favorite, as Utah and Wyoming were both upset in the quarterfinals.

As an interesting side note, the men's and women's teams at Colorado St combined to go 0-32 in conference games, and are now 3-0 in their tournaments, including the women knocking off #13 Utah.

I hate Frog High and everyone associated with it. If someone can just knock off the damn Froggies, maybe the MWC will be recognized for what it is, a crap conference that deserves no more than one bid, and really doesn't even deserve that.

Now, their ladies must wait and hope. They won 13 of their last 16 and RPI is around 50. But they lost to all of the good teams on their non-conference schedule, including us.

The other problem they have is that two lower seeded teams are playing for the automatic bid on Saturday. You would think the committee would take their regular season champ in Utah and then the automatic bid. It would be hard for the committee to take three but they could.

Their RPI is lower than ours, and they lost to us, and to Rice and a bad Houston team. I don't see them getting in - whatever team wins the MWC tournament gets the automatic bid, and nationally-ranked Utah gets the at-large bid. No way they get two at-large bids in that crappy league.

By the way, watch SportsCenter. Froggy High's game was tied with less than 20 seconds left and San Diego State scored the game-winner by inbounding the ball off a Frog's back and laying it in. WAY TO GO, AZTECS!

Not totally surprising but TCU was passed over for the women's NCAA tournament. When the MWC got Wyoming and New Mexico in along with Utah, I thought the Frogs were out. And they were.
