"Let the Madness Begin"
Congratulations to Rhonda and the SMU women's team for the terrific performance on ESPN2 as they won the CUSA Tournament and received an automatic NCAA bid! It was cool to see the Mustang logo on national TV.
I am on the plane heading to Memphis for our tournament. We play UTEP Wednesday at 2:30 pm. I hope Jon can go for another 33 against the Miners!
Speaking of Jon, he made All-Conference Third Team! I am very proud! He has worked his tail off to become a good player!
By the way, I packed for four games! I hope to stay a while in Memphis!

It is the night before UTEP and all through.....the hotel......
Sorry...wrong season....it is basketball season, not the Christmas season and for that I am glad because this is my favorite time of year. Upsets, celebrations, buzzer beaters, cutting down nets, hugs, tears....memories being made and dreams coming true in the Madness of March! College basketball is packed with pure emotion!
We are ready to give it our best shot tomorrow at 2:30pm against UTEP! Our guys are confident and ready! We don't want the season to end!
