SMU To Host Women's Basketball Selection Show Party
Coach Rompola To Be Special Guest On Monday's Inside College Hoops Show
6:00 PM, March 17
Ten Sports Grill

The SMU women's basketball team will host a special NCAA selection show party Monday, Mar. 17 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Ten Sports Grill in downtown Dallas. Mustang fans are encouraged to attend the event.

Come out and cheer on the Mustangs as the NCAA Tournament schedule is unveiled LIVE on ESPN beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Mustangs are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2000. They earned an automatic bid following their 73-57 win over UTEP on Mar. 9 at the C-USA Championship.

Following the 6:00 p.m. selection show party, SMU women's basketball head coach Rhonda Rompola will be a special guest on Inside College Hoops with Matt Doherty. The live on-air event will get underway at 7:00 p.m.

How long do these things typically take? The selection show, that is. Debating on whether to go or not.

Nice turnout - Ten Sports Grill was PACKED.

Among the faces in attendance: Juwan Howard, who was there for some sort of a charity arrangement - went out of his way to catch Coach Rompola before she got out the door, and told her "congratulations, you've made a fan out of me. I'm going to be watching your team - good luck." Classy move by a classy guy who didn't have to say anything. Good guy.

It was cool seeing Juwan Howard, but the real scene stealer was Erin Hawksworth. Even better looking in person!
