Has us still going to Baton Rouge, but now playing Louisville, instead of West Virginia.

Has UTEP playing Iowa and TCU playing Jawja, both in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

So based on his projections we would play a #4 seed-Louisville and then play a #5 seed-Vanderbilt? Is that right or how does the bracket flow?

Probably put together by TCU or UTEP "grad."

Now it has us going to Bridgeport, Conn., to play Vanderbilt, with the winner getting the Louisville/Fresno State winner.

Still has going to Bridgeport through last night. :x

I'm so happy we're going; I just wish it was closer to home. We'll see tomorrow!

Thought I would point out that over the past week Bracketology moved us from a 13 seed to a 12 seed. There have been some upsets and our RPI is strong (mid-40's) We've also received some votes in both polls. I wouldn't be surprised if we landed a 10 or 11 seed. I agree Peruna88 - I hope our first round game is closer than Connecticut.

Our RPI is 44 right now, I think the best seed we get is an 11. But that's fine, we'll play whomever, and wherever.

Going by the RPI PonyPride says the NCAA goes by (http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/weeklyrpi ... Brpi1.html), we're actually sitting at 48. Moving from 13 to 12 is nice, but I'd rather see West Virginia, I think - Vandy is really good.
If we somehow get our first round games in Baton Rouge, I'm there.

Don't they try to set up the women's brackets with a little more regional access?

If so, wouldn't that make it most likely the Mustangs are headed to Baton Rouge or Albuquerque or West Lafayette, Indiana?

Hope it's somewhere within driving distance. I'm ready to skip work for the Ponies.

The latest projection came out Sunday afternoon.

It has us as a 12 playing No. 5 Vanderbilt in the Spokane, Wash (West region). That game would be played in Bridgeport, Conn. on March 23.

Bridgeport's a dump, but I'll be watching!

(Every NCAA game is on TV, right?)

I really want to go somewhere that isn't BR (no offense BRstang!). As long as it's no BR, I'm good.

There are three areas of "prediction" - the opponent, the location and the seeding. The one thing I learned by watching the men's selection show yesterday is that the seeding is generally spot on with the actual outcome and the opponent and location missed just about every time! So I'm hopeful for a closer game but will travel to whereever to support the team.

What a great feeling to know you're in the big dance. I've been spoiled!
