UNLV gets a 3-point play with 3.2 seconds to play to hold off TCU, 89-88. Frogs last shot was a good look but short. Frogs end season at 14-16. I thought Neil Daugherty was gone after last year. I don't know how he comes back next year. He hasn't really done anything over there.
Edit: The star-telegram had a story on the web noting his departure.

A true friend of Dr. Jeske can spell and puntuate, not to mention discern the differences in coaching abilities between the two.

Neil is not a real popular guy over in Ft. Worth.
Attendance is poor & I don't see him staying.
Like SMU, should be a much stronger program year end & year out.

I wish they'd keep him.
He sucks, and under his guidance, TCU will continue to suck.

Seems like the froggies are always looking for a quick fix. They hired Fran. They hired Billy Tubbs.
You watch....they are going to hire Kelvin Sampson.

I think he is going to work in the marketing department at Verizon.

I hope they keep him so we can continue to beat them even though we suck too.

Unfortunately Daugherty is gone. TCU can't continue with this complete lack of enthusiasm.
Especially after SMU had the big JJ hiring slash.
TCU will try to get some of the limelight back with its own big BB hire. But who:
Sampson - way too damaged goods. Too recent. TCU won't touch him.
My bet is they money whip a great mid major coach like the UAB coach.

Both of those would be scary hires. Hopefully they're not bright enough to consider either one. Or hopefully those guys are bright enough to not answer the Frogs' call. (No way they can afford Knight)
Go PONIES!
