Marquette coach Tom Crean to take Indiana job

We talked about this when the Sampson stuff broke. Just wanted to take this full circle.

Now, there's talk Xavier coach Sean Miller may look at the Marquette job. That's weird. Also, there's talk that Washington State coach Tony Bennett may be interested in LSU because Bennett's wife is from Baton Rouge.

Love the coaching rumor mill.

Cant see Miller to Marquette. That is not really a move up with all that he has done at X.

Crean is a great pick up for IU. Clean record, gone to Final Four, and will take it in the right direction for one of the top BB jobs in NCAA's

Unfortunately for Crean, he will literally have nothing to work with. He will lose DJ White and Eric Gordon to the NBA (although white was a senior) and I read that two former starters were dismissed from the team earlier this week. I'm sure he will do a great job recruiting, he brought that Marquette program from the dead to a Final Four team and a perennial Big East juggernaut.
