Just throwing it out there for those that havent kept up with CBI, Tulsa leads the best of 3 series over Bradley.
Game 2 will be Tomorrow at 8pm EST. on Fox College Sports network for those that have DirectTV and dont feel like seeing the Mavs blow another game to the GSW.

People can ridicule this tournament all they want, personally I think it would be cool if SMU was still playing BB right now.

I do. I believe, as long as we don't fall out of the playoffs, that Dirk's time might end up being a positive. Being the gym rat that he is, he's done well with a little forced rest.

I didn't realize there were anything other than bandwagon fans in Dallas.

Yes, he's talking about those 3 guys who went to Mavs games 15 years ago.

I went to many games in the 90s. Basketball has always been my sport and the Mavs have always been my team.

I had a life size Mark Aguire poster in my bedroom as a kid. Used to mark my hieght on it in grade school.
Funny aside, my neighbor had a poster of Marv Albert in his bedroom...

I was one of those guys and I was probably the only one on campus that actually had a Jimmy Jackson Jersey. Haha

glad to hear someone else that feels that way. theres not a better memory that i have of the mavs in the early 90s than going to RA and seeing the game half empty midway thru the 3rd qtr.
theyve been my team since birth and will be my team til death

I went to my first NBA game when I was 12 in 87. It was the first round of the playoffs against the Sonics and I was hooked. From then on I rarely missed a game that was on TV. Next to Jordan, Ro was favorite player in the league. That 87-88 season was so great. Taking the mighty Lakers to seven games in the Western Conference Finals. Tarp winning 6th Man of Year. Then it all fell apart in the early 90s, but I stuck around.....Terry Davis, Doug Smith, Donald Hodge, Mike Iuzzilino and Randy White....those were good times.

Bradley won the second game on Wednesday by like 10 points. So the deciding game is Friday in Tulsa.
For those who may not know, Tulsa used to be in the Missouri Valley Conference with Bradley until the 1990s when it joined the WAC I believe.
I like that this championship is in a series format. Different but kind of cool. And think of the extra week of practice Tulsa gets because of this. Always helps.
