They should be fully informed by 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. local time.

I can only hope that Memphis does win it all. Rice did it in Baseball and Memphis could do it in basketball. And maybe CUSA would get a few more TV appearances. Now if we can just get our football program in line with expectations and win often, it would help as well.

Mrydel was kind enough to share the Little Rock regional experience with me. Memphis has some high caliber athletes. TV doesn’t do justice to these kids. I am sure Kansas has great players as well and I hope it is an exciting game. If I get my wish, it will be close until about 19:30 left in the first half when Memphis blows them out.

You make a good point. When Rice won the CWS, were they still in the WAC? I keep reading that CUSA "has not had a champion in any sport."

Rice won in 03 as a member of the WAC. I thought it more recent than that too. I guess time flies the older you get.

Memphis down 5 at half. I think they are fine but this is practically a ku homegame. They have so many more fans here and they are freaking loud.

Dozier, dorsey, and taggert each have 2 fouls at half. They need 2 of them on the floor so they ought to make sure kansas pays a price as they drive. I am surprised ku has attacked the inside and drawn 6 so far, but that's the only way to win here. Should be a great 2nd half.

Teams are back on the court.

My guess is we won't here anyone say that free throws don't matter for quite some time.
