Look for SMU assistant Lance Irvin to fill the assistant coaching vacancy at SIU. The vacancy was created when assistant Jack Owens left to join Matt Painter at Purdue. You might remember Irvin from his days as an assistant at Missouri, DePaul and Loyola-Chicago.
