Hey, it's better than the stage they played on before. Hard to dribble around the Hamlet props.

I think the HS arena they played in a few times last year was nicer. Where was that, Katy?

Hard to tell from the video, but doesn't look all that impressive to me - it does look like a revamped high school gym

On the opposite end of the spectrum...
Look at Tulsa's new home that is finishing up:

Womack + Wishbone = Heisman
Class of 89

FYI...That is not Tulsa's new home. They will still play in the on-campus Donald W. Reynolds center. The picture shown is of the BOK Center which will house arena football and minor league hockey as regular tenants, and TU will occassionaly play neutral site games there. It will also be home to the 2010 C-USA Men's Basketball Championship.

I think you're getting Rice and the University of Texas - Arlington mixed up. The Mavericks play in Texas Hall which is also the university's theatre.

looks like a nice facility for Rice - or any small school with a small fan base. Anyone checked for seating capacity? They don't need more than about 5-6,000 and looks to be in that range?

Texas Hall makes Moody Coliseum look/feel like the American Airlines Center!

As long as it's not in the Reynolds Center. Parts of that building are cool, but the lights in there are atrocious. It's hard to believe anyone can shoot in there without going blind.
