Biggest concern is leadership. 11 players are freshman or sophmores.
Said Faye could be one of the most dominating players in the league.
Said Papa is the most talented big man he has ever coached. Just needs to mature.
Bamba has really improved. Left & Right handed jump hooks look good plus he is more physical.
Look for a motion offense & a pressuring D.
With the 3 points line extended this year Doh doesn't want any layups.
Wants teams to earn it from having to shoot further out. Doh remarked that this is a perimeter conference with some teams playing four guards. It appears on paper that we now how the ballhandling, quickness to match up better on the outstide with teams.
We will have a size advantage over most teams. Hopefully we will take advantage of it this season.

I really like what he is saying about Papa....Doh has a good track record of not just saying things to create buzz, he actually believes it.
Just like when he said Ike and Killen were top tier players even though no Pony Fan believed it at the time, it proved to be true.

Killen single handedly carried us to a couple of victories and was unquestionably our best player last year. I would be thrilled if he was back again this season to start at the off-guard with Williams/McCoy at the point.

Were you at the UH game? Didn't see you at the tailgate.

Didn't make it up from H-Town this weekend, which I'm upset about because the UH/SMU game is always one of my favorites. Listening to the ticket had to suffice. Man, what a kick to the b@lls the last 2 games have been...

Me too. I think he poised for a great season. With improved guard play, he flourish.

Obviously sarcasm. No one could actually believe that.
