My New Favorite NBA Player

Gerald Green. Good Lord he's got unbelievable raw talent and energy. This guy continues to corral it and he's going to be something really special. Wow.

No doubt he is talented….unbelievable hops and he can score but he has a long way to go in the area of consistency. He reminds me a lot of former Maverick Tony Dumas – who was athletic as hell and could score in stretches, but he was too inconsistent. He averaged 12 pts a game his second year and then bounced around the league before going over to Europe. Green would have been well served to play college ball for a couple of years….physically and mentally.

Five teams in three years have all said the same thing. I was excited when the Rockets got him last year. He had a good game here and there but he can't keep it together.

Saw in the DMN today that Green's younger brother has commited to TCU. He's a 6'7 swing man. I don't know anything about him, but I'm sure we could have used his athleticism.
