It's somewhat upsetting that I'm going to miss the home opener for the women. I'm hoping for good things this season.

What do you have that is more important than the Women's home opener?

I was very happily surprised that their RPI ranking was 62 and only UTEP had a higher one. When you look at the rosters of the other conference schools SMU will match up very nicely this year. This year we have a legitmate 3 headed monster in Wills, Samuels and Gilliam. The key to this years success will be bench play and the developement of our freshmen. I will admit I was thoroughly impressed with Christine Elliot and really impressed with Morgan SHell. If she continues to develop she could very well take that 3 spot. She is a very smart player and can really stroke it.

The biggest area of improvement we have is the same area we have always had and that is rebounding. We must pick up our intensity and get more physical on the boards. Hopefully, Ms Elliot can help us in that area. I hope we won't miss Sharee (defense) and JD (Low post offensive) too much. We are a little more athletic I think and I really hope to see SMU push it more. It should be a very entertaining, successful year. I now predict we will win conference, go back to the NCAA tournament and will get to at least the 2nd round. Making way for a sweet 16 push next year. Mark my word bar any major injury it could happen this year. Go Mustangs!!

The game will be broadcast on KAAM (770 AM) on a tape delay - immediately after the men's games at South Florida.

The game also will be broadcast live on the web:

Pride, despite what you said about this game, are the women still going to be on 1630am or did their station change?

Is Ray Canterbury still calling them?
