If Patterson loves Fort Worth so much...

....why does he allow his name to be connected with job openings every December?

I'm just askin'. He never does a good job of getting out in front of this stuff.

Maybe he wants to do that, drive up the price at TCU and get more in his kingdom. That way TCU fans can love him even more and SMU fans can become more and more jealous.

Maybe he deep down wants to leave and wants to keep all of his options open. Good strategy, by the way.

Maybe he wants to develop a reputation of being a big c#ck tease and give everybody the impression he's looking when he really isn't but just likes being wined and dined before he turns down every offer.

Maybe he has a screw loose.

He's a great coach and has that ship running very well over there. But TCU fans have got to be worn out every December by this. SMU fans should only have this problem

I know our friend Corp and other Friends in Fort Worth will respond in kind.

Who cares what he does? I'm more interested in seeing us right the ship. Patterson and TCU are irrelevant to us until we play them again.

That's complete b.s.
Of course we need to pull our program out of the ditch and that is the most important right now, but every move made by TCU is a big deal to us. Saying otherwise is ridiculous.
