Im sorry folks. When you lose to a winless team that has been blown out consistently, it's pretty clear that things have gone awry here.

I'll stand by everything I wrote from the TCU thread that was pulled. Nothing has changed since then, has it?

There's no courage on this team. No will to win to win. No chemistry. Inside game flat out sucks. They got outrebounded. Again, they can't identify shooters. You deserve what you get with something like this. I hope Doherty enjoyed how well his team executed down the stretch.

I'm done paying attention to this season. [deleted] it. So glad I contributed to the construction of Crum.

C'mon Bleeding RedNBlue. I'm waiting for you to tear apart this entry sentence by sentence.

As I said in the TCU thread 8-10 wins.

I'll go to Moody this year -- to watch the women and apparently, the only DAMN legitimate coach we have on this campus.

Where else can a D1 coach claiming to be building @ top 25 program lose to SC Upstate, Centenary, Southern & now, Ark Pine Bluff & keep his job ?

I'll admit I was a huge fan of the Doherty hire and have been patiently hoping that this season was going to be the one that shows promise, but dear God in heaven. Its looking like another 8 to 10 win season. UGH.

So far Orsini's hires aren't doing any better than those hired by Copeland!!!!

It's really tough to swallow. It's a tough time for SMU basketball.

Yea....it blows and sucks. At the same time it is what it is. Three of your starters miss front ends of one on ones down the home stretch. That my friends is a recipe for a loss. You can blame it on coaching if you like. I have not played b-ball since junior high and I don't need a coach to tell me how to make free throws. It isn't like the players have not practiced the shots over and over. It comes down to execution...of which there was none late in the game.

This game should have never hinged on our ability to knock down the front ends of 1 and 1s.

Top 25 in all we do!!!! Is there a program that does less with more in college athletics? I cannot think of any. While we all are fuming over the pathetic basketball program, Doherty is cashing his big check at the bank. The joke is on the few SMU fans left.

by max the wonder dog
two full recruiting classes should have rounded up enough talent to beat the likes of Ark-PB.

say goodnight Doh

If you look at APB schedule, they have played a body bag schedule. All on the road against Big XII and MVC teams. They probably circled this game with a big red circle as winnable. They came hungry, we apparently played like we just got up from a Thanksgiving meal. No excuse for not coming ready to play.

I bet you we don't. Recruiting doesn't mean anything when your team plays no heart or discipline. We were outrageously more talented in terms of recruiting on the court last night. Did it make a difference?
