some of our non-conference HOME losses under Doherty:
UNC A&T - 2006-2007
Southern - 2007-2008
Alabama St - 2007-2008
Centenary College - 2007-2008
USC Upstate - 2007-2008
SFA - 2007-2008
Arkansas Pine Bluff - 2008-2009
UT-SA 2008-2009
I can't imagine any other coach in C-USA surviving that many bad home losses in under three years. This is beyond embarrassing

What is the best win we have had at home under Doherty? The "burgers and cheer" incident really improved our program.

Dayton two years ago. UTEP last year when Killen went for 34 or something like that?

Dayton was by far the best win. Coincidentally it was before Doh really had any influence over this team's performance.
This ship has sunk.

Dayton, without question. UTEP was a horrible road team last year, they went 0-8 on the road in conference play. It's not a surprise that they lost in Moody, they didnt beat anyone else, either.

Are you guys really surprised? It is not all Doh's fault though. This program has alienated the local schools and coaches. I would give Doh one more season to show significant improvement. I agree that this is pathetic and beyond embarressment. SMU basektball should be ashamed of this.

Let's see how this year shapes up. We had better show continued improvement as the season progresses.

The year is already shaping up. The competition gets a lot harder once conference play starts. Prediction.....SMU does not win a conference game this year.

That would imply we've seen some improvement up to now??
but seriously, ponyboy...I get your point. With his strange substitution method and the terrible losses, I have to believe he is probably dangerously close to losing these guys...if he hasn't already.
