Food for thought about what coaching is

I found this from Barry Horn's DMN media blog. There was a conference call with NBC and the media about the wild card games.

Like him or not, John Madden was a very successful coach. He's in the Hall of Fame with a Super Bowl.

He was asked about coaching. This was his response.
"Coaching is teams getting better as the season goes on."

I'll let you decide which basketball program on this campus is modeling that statement and which one isn't.
