Inside out...cant say it enough. Easiest 3 pointer in bball comes inside out. Look at the shooters stats since they've focused on establishing Elliott 1st. Numbers dont lie.
Now if we can just hope Gilliam made a new years resolution to make better decisions...this team could be really good in conference.
I totally agree with what you're saying. Christine Elliott is getting better and better and better. The refs took her out of the Frog game. When she's on the floor, though, I have yet to see anyone who can really handle her.
Haley Day has the prettiest shot on the team  she needs to shoot more. She's like Elliott  you can see the confidence growing as she hits more and more shots.
I saw on the SMU site that Tulsa  which beat us twice last year  lost nobody from last year's roster, while we lost six players. Our newcomers are very promising, but they're young and therefore inconsistent. The win yesterday smacks of fantastic coaching.

At University Park, junior guard Jillian Samuels made three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 17 points as SMU won its Conference USA opener at Moody Coliseum.
Freshman center Christine Elliott scored 14 points for the Mustangs, while sophomore Haley Day had 13 and Brittany Gilliam 11.
Samuels and Day also nailed three 3-pointers as the Mustangs (8-6) won their fourth straight and six of seven.
The Mustangs lost both regular-season matchups against Tulsa last season, but raced to a 27-12 lead in the first half.
