I am not there, but online this looks like one fugly game. Marshall's 15 turnovers and 10 fouls are keeping us in the game. SMU's halftime stats:

FG 12-35 (34.3%)
FT 3-9 (33.3%)
Top Scorer - Wills with 10 pts.

29-26 SMU at half.
Let's hope for some better ball.

Oh, and the national title game is a scoreless yawner so far.

It was fugly - prefect description.

We shot horribly. They passed horribly. The refs looked like they wished they were watching the football game - they didn't decide the game, I don't think, but damn, they made one horrible call after another on both ends of the floor.

Delisha Wills busted her tail tonight, and Haley Day had a nice little spurt of energy in the first half. Alice Severin played hard, as she always does, and got into double digits. La Hill also got there, although that's about the quietest 13 points I've ever seen.

Aside from that, it looked like a bad night for the whole team. It wasn't that Marshall outfought us for rebounds - a lot of times, we just didn't move at all. They got way too many easy rebounds for putbacks, and had way too many open shots on backdoor cuts that left one of their players standing alone under the basket.

TAKE IT OUT ON ECU - see you at Moody Saturday afternoon.
