Great moment during the women's game.

Our very own Athletic Director, Steve Orsini, left his center court blue seat and on his return could not produce his ticket for the lady to verify his blue seat status. His kid held up his ticket and waved at him from the front row. But security ticket lady WOULD NOT LET HIM THROUGH until she brought his ticket up for her to see.

Might have been the right time to throw out the "don't you know who I am" card!

Heh, too funny..reminds me of the famous story when Sam Walton came down to Dallas to check out his new Sam's Club and some sixteen year old employee wouldnt unlock the door and let him in when he was knocking first thing in the morning.

I was there at 6:45. What time would you have suggested showing up for a 7pm game?

Yeah, you might miss something spectacular like kids jumping rope, or 7 year old girls playing basketball for 10 minutes.

Poor Steve-O, he may never attend another basketball game.

First he gets an earfull from fans about poor concessionaires and then he can't return to his seat because he forgot his ticket stub.

It's good to see NOBODY gets preferential treatment at an SMU athletic event and it is good to see that Steve-O gets treated just like the rest of us.

Somehow I expect changes soon.

You sound like someone who would have a blast staring at the sun for an hour.

Why does Orsini sit up high for men's games?

Shh. It's because he sneaks in a flask and won't get caught up there.

At the UTEP game he was sitting on the first row of the blue seats. Right at court side. I think he moves around until he finds seats that aren't being used. Kind of like JT at Ford.

That's where he has been sitting this whole year.

If I'm going to get mad at concessions and people in my seat, if I have to get there 30 minutes before the game and stare at nothing, then I'll do it. No need to get mad when I show up 5 minutes before the game and expect "red carpet" treatment just because I'm going to give the department $20.
