This is catching on nicely
Can gamecast be right? 8 minutes in and we've only used 6 players?

SMU couldnt score for like 5 minutes. Very very weak. Faye looks lost tonight. Why does he play on the perimeter.

He's a SF is the short answer. Down 7 @ half isn't great, need to fight back and stay in this till the end

Unable to hit the rim twice from inside 15 feet and getting a shot clock violation kind of defines it for me.

Still plenty of time, but this one is getting away from us. Hopefully they can make another run.

down 13 is bad news. UTEP is good, but we need to be better then this on our home court, in conference. We have trouble scoring and the lack of Malone is a bit odd to me. He's obe of the more gifted offensive performers on the team, when given burn and a decent leash.
McCoy is just off tonight

Way too many turnovers and second chance points for UTEP.

Mustangs lose 74-68. Guys showed a lot of heart and scrapped their way back into it multiple times, but as usual, came up just short in the end.
Too many turnovers, missed tip-ins, etc., really hurt us, but this team is getting a lot better and is exciting to watch!

That's really not that bad a loss. Kids fought back vs. a decent UTEP team. We need to get after Rice & Tulane, that simple. Certainly, they are a different team w/Faye around. He's taking some of the scoring pressure off McCoy/Williams.
We really need another scorer or two this offseason, but as of now, I'm not sure where the ships are coming from. Interesting that Doh trimmed the rotation to 9. No Malone/Haynes tonight. I'm startingto think we need a polished JUCO scorer in the 09 class. Jared Dubois could have helped, that's for sure.
