Sasser led the scoring with 18 pts - Woods and Hancck kicking in 14 per. Just reminds me how good that team was and how the talent went to such a waste...

At the same site: Just plugged in the 96 SMU football vs 2008 SMU football on a neutral field for some fun:

SMU 96 won 50-24. Flanigan colmpleted just 2 passes - however the running game of that year mopped the floor with the 2008 team with three players going for over 100 yards rushing (see below). Bo Levi threw for 300+ yards and 4 ints. Pretty realistic if you ask me . . .
