Thundering Herd

Looks like we are around 10 point underdogs in this one, although the teams should be fairly close in talent. We have lost some heartbreakers to these guys including one in overtime and the three point buzzer beater that knocked us off by one last year.

They are 7-1 at home and we are winless on the road, much less a road trip to the Hillbilly Mountains of West Virginia in the dead of winter.

I really hope we play well and pull one out, but all signs point to us dropping this one, maybe we can be pleasantly suprised with our new big lineup.

Go Ponies!

Rice, last year. March 8, 2008. Also beat UTSA on the road last year.

We need to play hard and hopefully luck will be on our side. Game like this is more about who wants it more.

On a related note, how exactly does one get to Huntington, WV? What's the closest airport?

Yes I know I could look this up on my own, but I'm not in the mood this morning.

Charleston may be the closest airport, although I suppose you could try Cinninatti or Lexington. The best way to get to Huntington is to drive. Regardless of where you fly in to, you still have to drive a bit.
