This reminds me of the Houston game in '89, except worse. This is ridiculous.

His girls haven't won a game in his four seasons at the White Rock Lake-area school, renowned for its work with students with a variety of learning problems.

It looks dirty but is not - the chick can squeeze in her gut to look like that. Kind of an Ethiopian baby look

totally agree, A girls game against private religous schools......the coach should have set his whole team down until the other team scored....

What an A hole!

The thing that makes this even worse to me, is the fact that this game was nearly 10 days ago. Now that the DMN has put it on the front page and all the TV stations are airing it, Covenant is going into high speed spin control.

My question to them is this.... If this is so highly frowned upon by your school and ethics, why weren't these same measures taken last week after the game, why wait until the public is aware of your actions?

it was on ESPN`s Mike & Mike show this morning...yes, a little after the fact but this guy should be kicked in the jimmy....after they scored a 100 then they let up....come on......

I just hope that when some of you screw up that the party you offend will extend an acceptance of your belated apology.

To me, it doesn't matter how they recognized the error -- media blitz and all -- the point is, they did and are taking steps to repair the damage done.

I betcha the coach of that school has accepted the apology because that is the human thing to do.

you also can show some intelligence and know not to offend before you offend.................so if i have offended anyone with this post please accept my apology...............

Yes...you should accept apologies. That's what good people do.

Good people should also not take a week to realize something that they should have realized after 20 minutes of gameplay.

That being said, the coach is the one who should be apologizing and still has not publicly done so. This is the only quote from him:

It's unfortunate we got to 100 points in the game against Dallas Academy. It just happened, and we are not happy about that.

Please know Covenant intended no harm against them. I see this as a real learning opportunity, so we can prevent this from happening in the future.

Jacqueline Floyd from the DMN offers some good perspective. If people thought Covenant was ugly read some of the ugliness coming from the bloggers regarding the game. Nice people.
