i give Mustangstealth credit for calling it, but the score was not right tonight. The SMU scorers table gave Memphis a three pointer on play where 2 refs clearly called it a two pointer. gave memphis their 18th point and it should have been 17. It was a close enough game for long enough that it did matter. Principle if nothing else, how does that happen? Is anyone awake in the athletic department watching?

bothered the heck out of me watching that. Misscoring virtually never happens in college games, especially when the game is on TV!...but I think i have seen it at least twice now at smu in the last 10 years.

You are absolutely right, my brother and I screamed at the table for about 5 minutes. How does the coaching staff, players on SMU miss that?? 4 people sitting around us said the same thing. Another thing - what are with the refs that come into moody? They let Memphis man handle our guards and hack inside, just awful refs...

I put the blame squarely on the coaching staff and therefore Doherty. It's inexcusable to not have one of your assistants scoring the game and checking after every basket. I remember two shots last night that were called two pointers by the refs but our "hometown" scorer gave them a three. There was the "three pointer" that gave Memphis 18 instead of 17, and the other one was a few minutes before.
