Yes, almost a repeat of last week. The "kiss cam" curse.

Dia has turned out to be waste of a scholarship. Amazing. I really wonder what the deal is.
We were stuck on 43 for how long? 5 minutes?
I told the person I was with - watch this, game over..and we were only down by 4 pts. Houston took off from there.

Right when Harp came in... for that whole 5 + minutes he was out there, not one point was scored...

What is he seeing that I am not. Post game, he said Harp did a good job.
I know I'm not a coach but what the heck. Makes no sense.

Defensively, he did do a pretty good job, but not worth the liability of his lack of offense.

I want to know why Mike Walker comes in and goes 2 for 2 on 3's and then gets taken out. I think that he may have played 2 minutes in the 2nd half and was 0-1. So he may have played a total of 6 miuntes tonight and he shot 66% from the 3 point line. I just answered my own question. He can score therefore he will not play.

Coach Doh has a had a man crush on Harp the second he walked on campus..maybe it was the fact that he had offers from Wake Forest, ASU and others that led him to believe he was good..Harp is one of the worst offensive players in the last 5 years and has no business being on the court, especially when we have no true scorer. You could make a case for him to be on the court because of the intangibles (hustle, loose balls, defense) if we had a true scorer..but we dont..we cant afford an offensiive liability out there. There is a reason the position is called SHOOTING gaurd

I agree, I just dont think you can give up the offensive points. Not worth it. I didnt really seem him being all that effective on defense tonight. Had one of the worst passes I've seen in recent memory.
His Harp crush needs to end. Time to play someone else more - the season is way gone, time to experiment.

Lets see what walker and haynes can do if they get some extended minutes..this season is gone.
I hate to say it..I dont see next season being any better. mccoy and williams will be a solid backcourt but both are combo gaurds..no real true pg or sg. I think Nyakundi will develop into a good contributer and a sharp shooter. Hopefully Faye will be a little more consistent (have seen some nice flashes this year)..but we will have ZERO post prescence and inside game.

I differ here a bit, all we lose is Bamba and we will hopefully add a couple of impact players, that with everyone of the youngsters getting another year to develop, I think we will be better, maybe smaller and more athletic will work better for us.

Its the same question that our defense in football poses...Is it a good thing to have 9 returning players from one of the worst teams in the country? Is it a good thing to have your whole team coming back from an awful basketball team? Sure, I know players develop and get better with more experience...but you just have to think, did doh just ABSOLUTLEY whiff on some of these guys...Malone, TK, Harp?
Every team needs an Otis, brings some toughness and intangibles to the table..but those guys can only play so many minutes..especially on a team that has trouble scoring.
The jury is still out on Haynes and Walker...
