The highlight of the night was Nixon hitting Q for an alley-oop with 2:49 left that gave the Cougars a 59-48 lead. I will report this -- SMU is a better team than I thought it was. The Mustangs have some players, especially big guys (7-1, 7-1, 6-10, 6-9, 6-9, 6-8, 6-8, 6-8) but they just don't yet know how to play together. When they get it together, look out.
