We still aren't in the dance for sure. Winning the tournament cinches a bid. Don't leave squat up to the NCAA selection geeks.

We're assured of at least a WNIT bid as regular season conference champions.

Sorry, going to the WNIT is a nice consolation prize, but its kind of like being kissed by your sister.

So we shouldn't go to any postseason tournament? We should decline the WNIT invitation if there is no NCAA?

I will take a WNIT bid in a rebuilding year any day of the week! That said, let's go for the NCAA bid.

I'm thinking NCAA as well. But this is a nice fallback. The team deserves something after the hard work it put forth to win this conference championship.
I want to say we are going to postseason play for the 7th time under Rhonda, 5 NCAAs and at least 2 WNITs.

Well said on both counts. If we have this program to the point that the WNIT is a realistic goal in a rebuilding year, that's a huge feather in Coach Rompola's cap.
Of course, I'm with you, mustangxc - let's go to the big dance!
This season isn't even over - hopefully far from it - and already I'm eager to see how good we can be next year!

Thanks for checking on that. That's quite a track record she has. And the best thing is that she loves being here and wants to be here.
