Easy to give back $25K you never had when you're banking almost $400K a year.

Nice gesture, sure. But give back some of that salary, then.

Do you realize that giving back that $25k means he is giving up over 6% of his total annual compensation? Everything in life is relative, but I'd venture to say there aren't many folks on this board (me included!) that would voluntarily give their employer back 6% of their gross earnings this year.

My whole company just did a 10% percent cut at my level and a 5% percent cut for everyone else, so I feel his pain....

However, most seem to be viewing this as a token and desperate attempt to hold on to his job. Not sure if it is going to have the effect he was hoping for.

If you read the thread, none of the posts are SMU related. Why do you single out this one?

Because he's from Chicago.

Now, this could only happen to a guy like me...
And only happen in a town like this...

So may I say to each of you most gratefully...
As I throw each one of you a kiss
This
is
My kind of town Chicago
my kind of town Chicago is

My kind of people too
People who
Smile :) at you

And each time I roam Chicago is
Calling me home Chicago is

Why I just grin like a clown
It's my kind of town

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Frank Sinatra. If you have Dish, seriously Sinatra on channel 6075. Great stuff.

I still love that story. It ranks right up there the lesbian Carolina Panther cheerleaders who got into a fight at the bar in Tampa Bay or something like that.

Yeah I definitely was planning on making 50 copies of this picture to pass to my fellow Mustang Maniacs a la Shawn Taggart mugshot.
