odd that the conference champs have no one on the first team?? The conspiracy against SMU continues

but seriously, congrats to the ladies on a great regular season....keep it going.

At least one of Wills and Gilliam should be on the first team.

The fact that neither is further underscores the awesome job Rhonda Rompola and her staff have done this year. A lot of people who looked at least year's senior class assumed this was a rebuilding year, and they haul off and win the conference championship. The coaches have done an unreal job with this year's team.

I'm not buying the rebuilding topic as much as others. While I agree that there were questions regarding PG and replacing Dodds, the CUSA coaches didn't believe that.

They picked us second behind Southern Miss in the preseason poll. I wouldn't call that rebuilding.

Neither would I. I'd call it shortsightedness - at best - on the part of CUSA coaches who didn't do their homework. The only team that even came close to losing the talent we lost was UTEP, and we swept them, too.
