Sitting in the student section last night, I heard someone scream "Chill out, Robodoh," and figured it had to be someone from PF. It cracked me up, so I thought I'd ask. Anyone care to fess up?

Heh, that might have been me you heard. I was sitting just right behind the student section up in the main stands. I yelled something like that when he was in one of his foot stomping tirades. He was mad at Otis for making a tough bounce pass to Bamba. It was a thing of beauty, perfectly threaded between two defenders on a pick and roll, went through a very tight space, but of course Bamba was not ready for it and did not continue to the basket and it went out of bounds.

I understand what Doh was thinking: "Come on Frank, that is a low percentage pass, and even if you make it through that tight opening, you know damn well Bamba won't catch it".....but I don't want the kids to be afraid to make a good pass for the chance at an easy basket, so I yelled at him to chill :P

Good call. That foot stompin' routine has got to stop. Reminds me of my high strung junior high coach.

I'm surprised your memory can even go back that far since you were born when rocks were new.

Are you kidding? He has to use the foot stomp. Do you not realize how loud our gym is?

He has perfected it though.

one of his former players told me last night that he can't whistle and has to "stomp" to get attention...maybe we should buy him a whistle that has its own special pitch...and some sort of sedative...

Reminds me of my son, Chase, when he was three - right before I busted his little back-side for displaying a temper tantrum  .
