wow, good for them. Meanwhile, we can't even really compete with an average Houston team. I know, I know, it took Drew some time to turn it record wise, but he was trying to turn it in a very strong Big 12 South, not CUSA.

And the caliber of player you can recruit to a bottom feeding big12 south is also much higher than what you can recruit to a bottom feeding cusa team. everything is relative.

We should know in about a month whether this is feasible-but JUCOs are all over SMU's recruiting board. I'm thinking Doherty will sign 2 if he can

granted. but you still have to find players good enough to compete with Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Okie State. Thats disproportionately (key word) harder in my view than assembling 5 guys who can finish above Tulane or beat Houston one in three chances. There is no escaping that we are not on track for year 3 of any coaches tenure, and that this season was another egg. Now can doh pull a rabbit out of his hat? maybe, but it is what it is as of today and what we can see.

Do we have two more scholarships to give? I thought after Julius, we only had one spot left, and that was because Coach D held one back to balance out the classes a little.

Give Baylor total credit for a job very well done and they are to be congratulated. It is nice to see an under dog knock off the big names and big egos.
