Ted Gangi is honoring the 21-year anniversary of SMU's last NCAA men's tournament win (over Notre Dame on St. Patrick's Day in 1988). At this time next year ...

And the great Chuck Cooperstein's response...

At this time next year, they may be looking for the next coach to try to unlock whatever potential is at SMU. I like Matt, but there should have been some progress by now

Coop's response is pretty much the normal response I hear from 99% of the people I talk to about SMU hoops.

I don't listen to TCU Basketball but I know he did TCU Football and I definitely thought he did TCU Basketball on radio for many years before TCU got involved with ESPN.
