Welcome back to the TAC, SMU fans! I hope a lot of you make the trip to Ruston. It is always a fun atmosphere at the TAC. Are you bringing your pep band? Cheerleaders?
Should be a good game. On paper, it looks like we match up pretty well. You have a little bit more depth in the post, but we have some extremely talented post players, including WAC Player of the Year.
We, basically, have a 2 headed monster in the paint with Dowdell and Johnson. Our guards can hit the three or penetrate. We struggled early in the season - just as we have the last two years under the coach that was recently fired. When TSpoon took over the girls caught fire and looked a little like the Techsters of old. We are a very young team - same as you. Only two seniors - one has been out for 3/4 of the year and the other comes off the bench for a spark now and then. The rest of our players are underclassmen.
Looking forward to a great game between the CUSA champion and the WAC champion!
This is our first WNIT tournament. We have been to every NCAA tournament up until 2 years ago, but turned down the WNIT bid. This year, though, with a new HC and such a young team, we are excited to be building our program back to where it was. This is the first step.
Tell me some about your team. Would love to hear your strengths.

Oh, TechTV is great. It gets a little choppy sometimes, but overall it is SO much better than listening on the radio or streaming audio.
