The Hardline is broadcasting from Moody today before their game with the girls HS team. They just finished praising the greatness of Moody and saying how it's the best basketball venue around.
Really glad SMU allowed them to play in Moody since this is some of the best free pub we can possibly get. I just hope they allow the guys to use the new locker room in Crum so they can gush about that. And wouldn't hurt to the put the girls' AAU team in the ladies' locker room so word can continue to spread through the AAU circuit about the facilities.

can we include the attendance in the Season Ticket numbers-sounds a lot louder than for the usual SMU game.

guess we shouldve scheduled the Lake Highlands girls club team instead of Memphis for our big draw game.

Don't get a chance to listen to the Ticket much...
Did anyone go and who won? Was wondering if they were going to play it like a real game, or did it have more of a globetrotters feel?

I went. Girls won by almost 20 points. Game was tight for the first three quarters due to nerves and really bad shooting by both teams. Girls prevailed due to conditioning and the use of a full court press most of the second half.
Game was tied going onto the 4th quarter 34-34. Girls put up around 30 points in the last quarter and the ticket guys folded.
Stadium did look nice with 5000 people in it.

I went, and the crowd was by far the biggest of the season, even the Memphis game. The atmosphere was cracking!
