Kentucky followed SMU's two-year plan

If you know you don't have a fit and want to cut your losses, then get rid of your coach. Of course, UK officials didn't come up with alleged NCAA violations. They just said Billy Gillispie was an a-hole and nobody liked him.

I just hope the Big Blue Nation didn't tick off the Louisville school district and get some mafia-type athletic leader who decided to tell all of his inner city coaches to put the big freeze to the Wildcats.

You realize that UK isn't in Louisville, right? It's relevant to the discussion because SMU is IN Dallas.

Yes, but Lexington is too small of a player with an inner city. I pointed out Kentucky's largest city.

And in the past Kentucky has gone into Louisville's backyard to compete for players. That's why Kentucky is the big dog and Louisville -- even with its solid history -- still plays second fiddle.
