NCAA alleges major violations in Memphis basketball program under Calipari

The University of Memphis is in the process of responding to an NCAA notice of allegations charging the men’s basketball program with major violations during the 2007-08 season under John Calipari.

The allegations include “knowing fraudulence or misconductâ€

If Memphis does have to forefeit, does that mean CUSA and it's schools all lose out on the money that was earned by Memphis in the tournament? Could this be another reason that Calipari went ahead and bolted out of there this spring?

It should follow Calipari, not the school. Tell me he wasn't aware of his recruit's shortcomings.

the ncaa didnt notify them that the sat was bogus until after the tourny so.....
