Texas A&M adds rising junior combo...

Mark Turgeon and his Texas A&M staff received a commitment from 6-3 junior combo Jordan Green...
According to a source close to the program and confirmed by the The Eagle the Texas A&M Aggies have added to their Class of 2011 with the commitment of 6-3 combo guard Jordan Green from Flower Mound, TX.
"I felt like Texas A&M was the perfect place to go so I decided to commit. [Committing early] takes a lot of pressure off me and at the same time puts a lot pressure on me," Green told The Eagle. "I know I have to work on my strength and get my school work straight, making A's, so I can be ready to go to college."
Green is a 6-foot-3 combo guard averaged 8.3 points and just under 3 rebounds a game as a sophomore last season at Flower Mound earning second team all-district honors. He is a long and quick lefty who has range to the arc and the handling and passing skills to play the point or run the break. He is just maturing physically so look for his stock to continue to rise this coming year.
He chose Texas A&M over interest from UNLV, Utah, and SMU.
He joins guard Jamal Branch in the Aggies Class of 2011
