SMU sophomore Paul McCoy was selected preseason All-Conference USA by Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. As a freshman, McCoy was selected to the C-USA All-Freshman Team and was a two-time C-USA Rookie of the Week (Nov. 24, Feb. 16). He became the first freshman to lead SMU in scoring (13.4 ppg); and tied the SMU freshman record by leading the team in scoring 12 times. As a team, the Mustangs were selected to finish sixth with a more experienced lineup featuring two seniors, five juniors, six sophomores and two freshmen.

If he's 1st team than we probably had a good
year. I expect to c Faye & Williams on
the list (1st, 2nd or H m) after our 20 win season & NIT appearance.
Maybe even Dia takes it 2 the next level.

Expectations should be high 4 this team.
2 much talent for .500 or less record.
Heat should be intense for Doh.
