2 interesting games on TV tonight, Memphis vs. #1 ranked Kansas at 9, and TCU vs. Arizona State in the 2nd round of the Preseason NIT, on ESPN2, at 10:30. Good chance to see 2 future opponents, playing against strong competition.

Don't know if anyone noticed,but the tall bald ref that did our game last night in doing Memphis vs Kansas.

The tall bald ref is the great Steve Wellmer. He's everywhere. Don't be surprised if you see him working another game or two this weekend.
Memphis didn't show any signs of being "down" last night. Elliot Williams looks like the real deal and they have plenty of players returning who know how to win. Sure, they might lose to a few more ranked teams, but they'll be right at the top of CUSA again.

Yeah, if this is Memphis' down year, then they're definitely not gonna make it easy for another team to step right in and win the conference. Their conference win streak will hopefully come to an end, but they still look like a legit team.
