Christine Elliott turned in a dominating performance, with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocked shots and 2 steals, in just 23 minutes of play, as SMU rolled over North Texas, 80-58. Haley Day chipped in 16 points and 8 boards, while Raquel Christian scored 10 points off the bench. As a team, SMU made 9 steals and forced UNT into 23 turnovers. SMU is now 6-1 and will play cross town rival TCU (5-2) next Wednesday night, in Moody.

Great game by Christine - they really slumped when she went out in the 1st with the 2 fouls. Huge game by Haley who took 2 pretty good charges when they were trying to mount a comeback in the 2nd half. She also hit some threes which opened it up inside.

Hope to see them next week vs. TCU. Maybe someone who has seen them can comment but a friend of mine said he thinks Christian is better than Lala.

That's a tough comparison since they play different positions. In my mind, Christian looks like a smaller BG but with (so far) a more consistent shot. She definitely is a great addition to this team and will pick up the majority of the minutes LaLa would have seen.
