I have always been a fan of Rhonda and her team but my support is growing further based on the failing men's program.

SMU is 9-2 and 3rd in CUSA. Texas Southern is 2-7.

Go ladies.

Take care of business to get to 10-2 and then a huge test this Saturday at 7-4 Utah. Utah has won its last 3 and does not play again until it plays us. Averaging 58 points and yielding 58. They've played a tough schedule with Stanford and national finalist Louiville, so don't let that record fool you.

They are 6-1 at the Huntsman Center.

Their last game was a victory over Oregon, which is a real quality win. Utah is looking very tough at home.

We're not 3rd in C-USA, conference play hasn't started, yet. If you look at the RPI we're rated the highest amongst C-USA schools, at 34. East Carolina and Tulane have a slightly better record, but we have played the tougher schedule. I'm glad those 2 schools are winning, it will be good for our RPI when we beat them.

I'm glad you want to support the Ladies, but dont make it a men vs. women thing, you dont have to choose between one or the other, and the success of one doesnt have to come at the price of the others failings. The womens team deserves our support based on their own accomplishments. Tonight should be a good game, the first game after the Christmas break is always a little ragged, but this one should be smoother.

Which RPI poll is that? I can't find a link to the one the NCAA uses (not realtimeRPI or sagarin or something....)

1 point lead at half...should be an interesting halftime discussion.

As lethargic as I've ever seen this team. We'll win, but Coach R is going to have plenty of fodder for practice. If we play this way at Utah, we'll get destroyed — Utah is a terrific team, and we sure as hell aren't playing like a team getting top-25 votes.
